THE HOME OF THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Learn about the candidates for the 2020 Presidential election in an unbiased and simple way. With over 2,500 pieces of data for over 20 candidates in 15 policy categories, PoliTalk USA divides this information up by candidate and by issue. If you're interested in a certain candidate, you can find their profile on the main page. However, if a specific policy issue catches your interest, such as immigration, you can compare each candidates' stances cross-sectionally.
PoliTalk USA was developed by 13 tech-savvy, politically minded, and determined students in the graduating class of 2019 at Westhill High School in Stamford, CT. After completing the app, 6 members decided to continue working on it, and they are responsible for all updates, social media posts, and press interactions.
The current team is:

There is no doubt that the current political climate is becoming increasingly polarized. With the 2020 presidential election quickly approaching, we feel that people need an unbiased, organized, trustworthy, and accessible medium to learn about every candidates’ views and how they align with their own. Our team consolidated information from campaign websites, news articles, interviews, and voting records into individual candidate profiles. As the primary field evolves, we continue to update the website and app with new candidates and the latest policy proposals. To eliminate all possible bias, PoliTalk USA will never make recommendations for the user, but instead, present information about candidates in a fair and simple way.
HOW OFTEN ARE THERE UPDATES TO THE APP?
PoliTalk USA is updated around every 2-4 weeks. Updates include the addition or removal of candidates that have either entered or dropped out of the race, as well as changes to candidates' policy positions based on factors such as new plans and what they may have said in the last debate.
IT ALL SOUNDS GREAT, BUT WHAT DOES THIS APP ACTUALLY DO?
In essence, the app contains information about each candidate. This information, from their life experience to new policy proposals, is all available on the internet. However, PoliTalk USA, unlike any other app or website, puts all of this information into a clean and unbiased format. There are news organizations that attempt to provide a 2020 election guide, but none of them present such a wide range of policy as PoliTalk USA.
I’VE SEEN OTHER APPS THAT SERVE SIMILAR PURPOSES. WHAT MAKES YOURS THE BEST?
PoliTalk USA is the best 2020 election guide around because its breadth of information, unbiased nature, and simplicity are unparalleled. In addition, PoliTalk USA is created by teens whose only goal is to provide the best 2020 election guide possible. As of right now, no money is being made off of the app, and PoliTalk USA certainly does not try to push its own agenda. The app purely exists to benefit any voter or future voter.
WHEN WILL THE APP BE AVAILABLE ON ANDROID?
PoliTalk USA is currently working on rolling out an Android version by the end of the year. Since Android and Apple apps are built with completely different software, this is a lengthy process for any app.
